After nearly a decade of DJing I've learned just how important music and sound can be to weddings. Not just what music is being played, but also when and how it's being played. I love the reactions people have to music, I love when people hear a favorite they haven't heard in years, or when they hear a new song that they instantaneously enjoy. A DJ should have not just a large library of music, but should have the ability to read the crowd and understand what musically is best for each part of your celebration. This ability comes from experience and from preparation.
